India must adopt 0-emissions to mitigate methane from trans.

CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) is gaining traction as the preferred automotive fuel in India, primarily due to its cost-effectiveness and high calorific value. However, the environmental concerns stemming from its contribution to global warming and atmospheric pollution have prompted experts to call for a swifter transition to zero-emission technologies to mitigate methane emissions from transportation.

Presently, CNG's penetration in India's transport sector hovers around 10 to 12 percent. To combat environmental challenges, experts suggest that India should aim for a more significant shift, targeting a share of 20 to 25 percent by 2030. Notably, CNG passenger vehicle sales in the recently concluded fiscal year 2023 recorded a substantial increase of 40.71 percent compared to FY2022, comprising 8.80 percent of the overall retail sales of 36,20,039 passenger vehicles.

While the surge in CNG usage is expected to persist in the transport sector, there are concerns that need to be addressed, including the potential leakage of methane, which constitutes 80 to 90 percent of CNG. These challenges underscore the importance of proactive measures and the rapid adoption of zero-emission technologies to ensure a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future for the automotive sector in India.

Creativity is for Humans, Productivity is for Robots!

On most construction sites, the rhythm of progress is measured by the clang of steel, the hum of machinery and the sweat of thousands. But increasingly, new sounds are entering the mix: the quiet efficiency of algorithms, the hum of drones overhead, and the precision of robotic arms at work. Behind the concrete and cables, an invisible force is taking hold: data. It is turning blueprints into living simulations, managing fleets of machines, and helping engineers make decisions before a single brick is laid. This is not the construction of tomorrow; it is the architecture of today – built on ..
