Kerakoll Expands its Presence in India

Kerakoll, a global leader in sustainable building solutions, is proud to announce the launch of its new manufacturing facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan. With an investment of Rs 260 crore, the facility underscores Kerakoll’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India and reinforcing its vision of eco-friendly, innovative construction solutions. The new facility is strategically situated within Mahindra World City, a Public-Private Partnership between the Mahindra Group and RIICO—spans 51,000 sq. m with a potential plant size of 28,000 sq. m. This state-of-the-art unit will enhance Kerakoll’s production capabilities, positioning it to grow it’s market share fast in North India.

With an initial annual production capacity of 1,50,000 tonne, the plant is designed for scalability, offering the opportunity to double its output in the future to meet growing market demand. Kerakoll has a strong manufacturing presence in India, with two existing plants and an extensive network of manufacturing partners.

“We are thrilled to launch our state of the art Jaipur facility, which represents a major step forward in our commitment to sustainability and innovation in India. This plant is not only a strategic addition to our production capability but also a bold step to foster our concept of ‘’platform” through which we plan to offer highly differentiated value to the construction ecosystem. Through our Jaipur, we gain proximity to our customers strengthening our presence in the Indian market and contributing to the nation’s growing infrastructure needs,” said Mr Ahzam Javed, Regional Director-Asia Pacific at Kerakoll.

The new plant embodies Kerakoll’s commitment to green building with cutting-edge sustainability initiatives. It features a 900 KVA solar plant, cutting carbon emissions by 1,500 tons annually, and a rainwater harvesting system collecting 840 cubic meters yearly. A third of the land is a green belt with 1,600+ trees, including a Miyawaki forest. Designed for natural lighting and cooling, the facility also uses 100% battery-operated forklifts to boost efficiency while reducing environmental impact. The existing facility in Vadodara and the newly launched plant in Jaipur will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s business objectives and contributing to India’s evolving infrastructure landscape.
