Ammann India Unveils First ABG Paver & New Parts Warehouse in Gujarat

Ammann India has marked a major milestone with the launch of its first locally assembled ABG 5420 Tracked Paver (Tier 3) from its new assembly line at the Ditasan manufacturing facility in Gujarat, alongside the inauguration of a high-tech ABG parts warehouse. These developments solidify Ammann India’s role in delivering advanced, localized road construction solutions for both domestic and export markets, aligned with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India for the World’ vision.

The ceremonial roll-out was led by Bernd Holz, Executive Vice President, ABG General Management, and Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director, Ammann India, joined by senior leadership. The ABG 5420, compliant with Tier 3 emission standards, is designed to meet the performance, reliability, and sustainability needs of Indian contractors while also serving international markets across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The new paver assembly line enables Ammann India to meet growing demand fueled by large-scale government infrastructure programs such as Bharatmala, PM Gati Shakti, and the Smart Cities Mission. The company will produce more pavers in the coming months for both domestic and overseas clients, reinforcing its position as a strategic manufacturing and export hub.

Complementing the manufacturing expansion, Ammann India also inaugurated a 10,000 sq ft. ABG parts warehouse with an additional 2,000+ sq. ft. for staging operations. Equipped with advanced material handling systems, 8-level racking for 1,800 SKUs, and the capacity to handle up to 1,200 kg per shelf, the facility is designed for fast parts availability, optimised material flow, reduced delivery times, and improved service response for ABG customers.

Commenting on the developments, Panda said, “The roll-out of the first ABG Paver from Ditasan and the commissioning of a dedicated warehouse are strong testaments to our commitment to localization, operational excellence, and customer service. These milestones will accelerate our ABG growth journey in India and boost our capabilities as a global manufacturing and export hub.”

With these advancements, Ammann India strengthens its focus on manufacturing innovation, localized excellence, and customer-centric service, enabling agile, high-quality delivery to customers worldwide.
