Military Forum in Berlin Highlights VpCI® Tech for Combat-Ready Preservation

On June 25, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Berlin hosted an exclusive Military Forum dedicated to "Combat-Ready Preservation of Military Assets with Patented VpCI® Technology." The event gathered experts from the global military industry to discuss the essential role of advanced corrosion protection in enhancing the operational readiness and longevity of military equipment.

The forum spotlighted VpCI® technology, developed by Cortec® Corporation, a leading provider of environmentally responsible corrosion protection solutions. Cortec's experts, along with their international partners, shared real-world applications and field experience, showcasing how VpCI® corrosion inhibitors are being successfully used by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and The Royal Navy. The event also featured insights from military professionals from France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and the U.S., who discussed the technology’s effectiveness in both military production and preservation processes.

These sustainable solutions align with modern military objectives, ensuring asset preservation while minimizing environmental impact.

As a part of the event, the Croatian Society for Materials Protection launched a new book, "Corrosion and Protection Using Inhibitors - Vapor Phase Inhibitors and Military Equipment," authored by retired Colonel Tadija Madzar of the Croatian Army.
