A One Family–One Entrepreneur–MSME Growth Workshop will be held at Sri Kasturibai Kalakshetram in Nellore on Thursday, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, representatives of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and self-help group (SHG) members. The programme is intended to provide information on business opportunities, funding options and government support. District collector Himanshu Shukla said the workshop was being organised by the district industries department in association with the district industries centre, APIIC, DRDA, MEPMA, the skill development corporation and APMIP. The participating departments and agencies will provide information relevant to people planning to establish new enterprises and to existing businesses seeking expansion. The workshop will include sessions on production methods, marketing opportunities, bank loans, government schemes and digital services. These sessions are designed to help first-time entrepreneurs understand the basic requirements for developing business ideas and taking them forward through appropriate institutional and financial support. Special help desks and departmental stalls will also be arranged at the venue. Participants will be able to obtain guidance on available schemes, financial assistance, application procedures and other services from the departments and agencies involved in the programme. The collector urged aspiring entrepreneurs, existing MSMEs and SHG members to attend the workshop and make use of the information and assistance available. The initiative is intended to accelerate industrial development in Nellore district while promoting the concept of encouraging at least one entrepreneur from every family. The event will therefore serve as a common platform for people seeking to start businesses, enterprises looking for support and departmental representatives responsible for implementing relevant schemes. By bringing these groups together, the district administration aims to improve awareness of opportunities and assist participants in understanding the steps involved in establishing or expanding an enterprise.
