NBCC Wins Rs 820 Million Contract for Lokpal Renovation Project

NBCC (India) has secured a work order worth Rs 820.08 million from the Lokpal of India for renovation and interior upgrades at the Lokpal premises in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The project involves a comprehensive refurbishment aimed at enhancing the operational infrastructure of the office.

Additionally, NBCC, a Navratna enterprise under the Government of India, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Asset Housing and Development Authority (MAHAPREIT), a division of the Maharashtra Government. This agreement enables NBCC to undertake consultancy, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), fee-based, and redevelopment projects across Maharashtra.

The MoU was formalized on March 26, 2025, marking NBCC's expansion into Maharashtra’s redevelopment sector following its significant contributions to urban transformation in Delhi. Under the agreement, NBCC will act as a project management consultancy (PMC) contractor for a period of two to three years, overseeing project execution.

Earlier in the week, NBCC secured two additional contracts totaling Rs 6.58 billion, further strengthening its order book. The Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board awarded a contract worth Rs 4.38 billion for various infrastructure and redevelopment works in Haridwar. This project includes rejuvenation of public spaces, development of business and exercise districts, and urban improvements to support regional growth.

Another contract, valued at Rs 2.19 billion, was awarded by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) for planning, supervision, and construction of buildings at its Mehrauli campus in New Delhi. The project encompasses a data centre, residential housing, hostels, a technical block, and associated infrastructure to support C-DOT’s operations.

These contracts align with NBCC’s corporate growth strategy, reinforcing its leadership in the redevelopment and infrastructure sector in India. The projects are expected to contribute significantly to the company’s revenue, further solidifying its position as a key player in construction and engineering.
