Godrej Properties Buys Apartments on Carmichael Road for Rs 1.78 Lakh PSF

Pirojsha Adi Godrej, Chairperson of Godrej Properties, and his cousin Freyan Crishna Bieri have bought four high-end apartments in Godrej’s own project, Godrej Carmichael, at a record price of Rs 1.78 lakh per square foot. The apartments, acquired through Ceres Developers, where Godrej serves as a director, have a combined value of Rs 290.59 crore with a stamp duty of Rs 17.5 crore.

The luxury project, located off Peddar Road behind Jindal Mansion, has set a new benchmark in the Mumbai micro-market known as Billionaires' Row. Previously, the highest-priced transaction in the area was Rs 1.63 lakh per square foot by JSW at Morena House. However, this latest deal surpasses that record.
