RMC Switchgears Secures Contract From Jaipur Distribution Utility

RMC Switchgears Limited (RMC) has received a letter of award from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) for the supply of 100 Amp L.T. distribution kiosks suitable for underground cabling. The contract is valued at Rs 28.447125 mn and will be recorded in the company order book. The company said the award strengthens its order book and is expected to contribute positively to revenue and growth prospects.

The order was awarded by a domestic entity and the company described the terms and conditions as governed by the general conditions of contract, including the price variation formula and technical specifications appended to the tender. Where terms in the purchase order differ from the RTPP Act the act will supersede. The purchase order incorporates standard provisions from the PO, ITB and GCC except where modified.

The company stated that promoters and promoter group entities have no interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not constitute a related party transaction. The execution period for the contract is six months from the date of award. The disclosure was submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and referenced the applicable SEBI master circular.

The compliance officer and company secretary authorised the filing and enclosed an annexure detailing significant terms, including the broad consideration and execution timeline. The company provided registered office and contact information in the filing and said it will notify the stock exchange of any further material developments. The award will be reflected in regulatory filings and in periodic disclosures to investors.

The company noted that the order forms part of routine business operations and that contract performance is subject to the standard inspection and acceptance procedures specified in the tender documents. RMC will provide updates to investors and regulatory authorities as required under the listing obligations.
