ABB India Marks 75 Years of Engineering Innovation and Sustainability

ABB India commemorates 75 years of operations, highlighting its contributions to India’s industrial growth, technological innovation, and sustainability. Since its inception in 1949, ABB has driven electrification, automation, and digitalization across 23 sectors, supporting India's growth trajectory.

Key facilities like the Faridabad hub (energy-efficient motors), Vadodara campus (railway traction and industrial motors), and Nashik plant (renewable energy components) underscore ABB’s focus on advanced, sustainable technologies. Bengaluru’s Nelamangala campus and Peenya site further emphasize Industry 5.0 practices and energy-efficient solutions.

Morten Wierod, CEO of ABB, lauded India's role in ABB’s global innovation, citing investments in the largest R&D center and workforce expansion.
