hansgrohe wins double gold at iF DESIGN AWARDS 2025

Premium bath and kitchen brand hansgrohe has clinched two Gold awards at the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025, standing out among nearly 11,000 entries from around 66 countries. The brand’s Avalegra mixer tap and Raindance Alive shower system were lauded for redefining everyday water experiences through innovation and design.

The hansgrohe Avalegra, an elegant reinterpretation of handwashing, impressed jurors with its graceful curves and integrated washbasin design. The standout feature — a gentle face spray fountain — replaces traditional splashing, offering a refreshing and hygienic twist to handwashing. The jury called it “a delightfully cleansing water fountain” and a concept “likely to inspire imitation.”

The Raindance Alive shower surface reimagines how water is experienced. With a sleek one-piece front panel and refined nozzle geometry, the design delivers a multisensory, joyful showering experience. The jury praised its innovation, stating: “The name says it all – it’s a joyful experience.”

With two out of three golds awarded in the sanitary category, hansgrohe reaffirms its leadership in design excellence. Since 2015, the Hansgrohe Group — through its brands hansgrohe and AXOR — has secured a total of eight Gold iF DESIGN AWARDs.

hansgrohe continues to pioneer water-saving and energy-efficient technologies that blend timeless aesthetics with long-term functionality, promoting a sustainable lifestyle through design-forward, everyday luxury.
