Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) has achieved a key construction milestone on its Palarivattom–Kakkanad Metro extension, with the installation of the first girder for the viaduct section marking visible progress on the city’s upcoming Pink Line.A 170-tonne U-shaped girder was successfully launched between pillars 284 and 285 along the Infopark Expressway in Kakkanad.
