Enlight Metals Deploys AI Workforce

Enlight Metals has introduced AI Employees, autonomous digital workers designed to manage routine tasks and improve speed, accuracy and efficiency across procurement and logistics operations.
The company said the AI-driven model combines human expertise with automation, enabling teams to focus on strategy, decision-making and customer relationships instead of repetitive manual processes.
In procurement and commercial operations, the AI Employees process customer Requests for Quotation by reading requirements, checking inventory and preparing draft proposals within seconds. The company said the same activity earlier required several hours of manual effort.
In logistics, the system tracks shipments in real time across locations including Pune, Raipur and Faridabad, updates delivery schedules and automatically alerts customers in case of delays.
Enlight Metals said the initiative is helping create a faster, more accurate and reliable supply chain while reducing delays and operational errors.
Dhananjay Goel, Managing Director, Enlight Metals, said the company wants its workforce focused on creative and high-value work, while AI handles routine processes to improve daily performance and customer outcomes.
