Philippines airport for Megawide, GMR

Megawide Construction Corp has signed an MoU with GMR Group for the development of Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in Philippines. MCIA handles 6.2 mn passengers despite the design capacity of the existing terminal at 4.5 mn passengers. The Philippines Government views that MCIA needs to expand the airport, especially since pasenger traffic has grown by an unprecedented rate of 13 per cent for the last 10 years.
