Facilities at four Mumbai rail stations to be revamped

The Railways will soon begin work on revamping amenities at four stations - two each on the Western Railway and the Central Railway routes - under the Adarsh scheme. On the WR network, the Railway Board has included Lower Parel and Dahisar stations, while Diva and Ambernath stations will be developed under the scheme. The scheme includes the provision of basic amenities like toilet blocks, adequate drinking water, foot-overbridges, steel benches and signages.
