NHAI links Ahmedabad and Vadodara

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to develop a Rs 10,400 crore project that includes the 102-km-long Ahmedabad-Vadodara stretch of NH-8, and the 240-km-long Ahmedabad-Pitol segment of NH-59 connecting Ahmedabad to Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

The project includes road widening work and construction of culverts and over-bridges on the two national highways in Gujarat. It is likely to be executed in the next few months.
