The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) has served show-cause notices to 58 construction sites along the Dwarka Expressway after inspections found multiple environmental lapses. The notices require project promoters and contractors to explain non-compliance with pollution control norms within the stipulated period. The action follows routine monitoring aimed at curbing dust, debris and improper waste handling at active construction zones.

Inspectors documented inadequate dust suppression measures, poor storage of construction material, uncontrolled runoff and the absence of proper solid waste disposal systems at several locations.
