“Most legacy data centres were built decades ago for lower IT loads and traditional airflow patterns,” said A Prabhu, Executive Director – Technical (Global Operations), BPE. “As racks were added over time, cable congestion beneath raised floors increased. BPE Active Tile efficiently cools highly congested environments where traditional solutions cannot operate, including telecom switching sites, regenerated sites, cable routing stations, and POP/POI infrastructure. The Active Tile includes glow-in-the-dark identification stickers for visibility and guidance during low-light or emergency conditions. By intelligently managing airflow, it addresses hotspots and air imbalances caused by mixed high- and low-density racks and cable bunching, directing cold air exactly where it is needed.

To eliminate Single Point of Failure risks, BPE Active Tile uses multiple fans and dual power supply redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted airflow in mission-critical environments. Constructed from reinforced fibre, it is lightweight, non-conductive, and supports up to 1,500 kg per square metre UDL, reducing floor stress while maintaining structural strength.

Railways To Operate Over 300 Special Trains For Rath Yatra

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Indian Railways (IR) will operate more than 300 special trains for the annual Jagannath Rath Yatra in Odisha and over 100 special trains during the Onam festival in Keralam. MEMU Suspension Disrupts Commuters Between Vadodara And Dahod

The Vadodara–Dahod Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) service has been temporarily suspended for 26 days after its rake was diverted to Odisha to manage the surge in passenger traffic during the annual Rath Yatra in Puri.
