HIL Wins Major Toll Ops Contract From NHAI

Highway Infrastructure (HIL), an integrated infrastructure development and management company with capabilities across toll operations, EPC infrastructure and real estate, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for operating the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada stretch of NH-16 from Km 355.000 to Km 437.500, covering 82.5 km in Andhra Pradesh.

Valued at Rs 3.29 billion, the LOA represents the company’s largest-ever single work contract. The mandate covers user-fee collection and operations management for one year, including maintenance and upkeep of adjacent toilet blocks and consumables on NH-16, a critical north–south corridor.

This award marks an important milestone in HIL’s growth trajectory. The company’s order book has risen by around 103 per cent, increasing from Rs 5.31 billion in March 2025 to more than Rs 10 billion at present, strengthening revenue visibility and supporting its long-term strategy.

Order Book Position

As of 10 November 2025, HIL’s order book stood at Rs 7.50 billion. With the addition of the latest contract, the consolidated order book now totals Rs 10.78 billion, comprising Rs 5.77 billion in EPC projects and Rs 5.02 billion in toll projects. Since March 2025, the EPC order book has grown by 38 per cent, while the tollways collection order book has expanded by 340 per cent.

Managing Director Arun Kumar Jain said: “Securing the company’s largest-ever toll operations contract is a landmark achievement that reinforces our capability to manage high-value projects at scale. Crossing the Rs 10 billion order book milestone positions us for accelerated growth and stronger financial performance. Our robust pipeline ensures sustained revenue visibility, and executing larger projects successfully will enhance our eligibility for even bigger opportunities. With past challenges behind us, we are now entering a phase of strong, profitable growth.”
