Telangana's Regional Ring Road Upgraded to NH

The decision follows a meeting between Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari held in Delhi where the matter was earnestly discussed.

Following the meeting, a state government release disclosed that "Soon after the meeting, the union minister instructed the NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) officials to prepare the proposals to declare the southern section of RRR as a national highway."
