Cranex Secures Rs 18.74 Million Order From Eastern Railway

Cranex on 27 August 2026 informed the stock exchange that it had received a Letter of Award from Eastern Railway, C.W.M. Liluah. The disclosure was submitted under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and referenced Scrip Code 522001 and ISIN INE608B01010. The company noted the award in a filing with the BSE. The filing referred to compliance with SEBI circulars issued in July 2023 and included the required annexure.

The award covers the manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of a traverser, specified at 80 tonne (80 t). The company stated that the traverser will be delivered as a surface type 80 tonne unit and that the order value is Rs 18.74 million (Rs 18.74 mn). The equipment specification and scope were set out in the Letter of Award.

The order is domestic and does not involve any international counterparty. The company indicated that the products will be delivered within the agreed timeline and that the contract is to be executed by 25 May 2027. The timeline reflects the completion schedule agreed with the Eastern Railway.

Cranex confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group or group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order. The company also clarified that the order does not constitute a related party transaction and no arm's length considerations apply. The disclosure included customary annexures required under SEBI circulars.

The contract is expected to contribute to the company order book and to its manufacturing operations without affecting governance or related party arrangements. The company requested the exchange to take the disclosure on record and indicated compliance with applicable regulations. The filing passes through the specified compliance channels for market transparency. Annexure one to the filing set out detailed terms and the significant conditions of the contract.
