KPIL Casts First Tunnel Segment for Bhopal Metro's Package BH-04

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (KPIL) – Gulermak JV has started casting the first batch of tunnel ring segments for the underground Package BH-04 of the Bhopal Metro Orange Line. The 14.99 km Orange Line will connect Karond Circle to AIIMS, covering 16 stations.

Package BH-04 spans 3.39 km and includes underground tunnels and stations at Bhopal Junction and Nadra Bus Stand. The project, funded by a €400 million loan from the European Investment Bank, is part of the broader Bhopal Metro Phase 1, set to span 27.87 km. The project is expected to be completed by 2024.
