SUGS Lloyd Secures Rs 6,392.4 mn Contract With Konkan Railway

SUGS Lloyd Limited (SUGS Lloyd) has secured a contract from Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (Konkan Railway) worth Rs 6,392.4 mn including GST. The project covers supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a plant contract together with SCADA-DMS systems to be executed over 24 months. The award is described by the company as a transformational milestone that substantially strengthens its order book and revenue visibility.

The contract is expected to accelerate scale in the company's Power Transmission and Distribution business and broaden its project portfolio with government clients. The company plans to leverage its experience in smart grid and power infrastructure to execute the large and complex EPC assignments. The size of the award is said to validate its execution capabilities and strategic direction.

SUGS Lloyd has positioned itself as an EPC provider in Power T&D, solar and smart grid solutions since its establishment in 2009. The firm serves blue-chip clients including NTPC, Tata Power, Adani Renewables, Indian Railway and several state DISCOMs and holds a dominant share in Fault Passage Indicator technology. The order is expected to reinforce its standing and open avenues for larger opportunities.

For the first half of fiscal year 2026 the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,230.3 mn, EBITDA of Rs 188.8 mn and net profit of Rs 118.2 mn. These results are presented as context to the company's financial position ahead of the new contract execution. Management has indicated a focus on disciplined execution, selective bidding and financial prudence to drive sustainable growth.

The company acknowledged that forward looking statements in the release are subject to risks, including government action and technological uncertainties, and may not be updated publicly. Further information is available on the company website.
