Texmaco Rail Wins Rs. 36.5 mn Order from West Central Railway

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from West Central Railway for an order valued at Rs. 36.5 mn, including taxes. The domestic order covers the provision of anti-bird discs for use across the railway network.

The equipment is intended to help prevent bird-related faults on railway infrastructure. Such faults can affect railway assets and operations, making preventive measures relevant to network safety and reliability. The order relates specifically to the supply and provision of anti-bird discs.

The company is required to execute the order within 12 months from the date of the LOA. West Central Railway is the awarding authority, while the order has been classified as domestic in nature. Texmaco Rail has not identified the contract as a related party transaction.

The company informed the stock exchanges about the order under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The disclosure covers the order value, scope of work, execution schedule and transaction classification.

The contract adds to Texmaco Rail’s work in railway infrastructure and safety-related products. The company’s scope under the award is focused on supplying anti-bird discs, with completion expected over the 12-month execution period specified in the acceptance letter. The order also expands its engagement with a zonal railway authority in India.
