Adani Ports Handles 36 MMT Cargo in November

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported handling 36 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in November 2024, with the container segment achieving a robust 21% growth, according to a regulatory filing.

For the first eleven months of 2024, APSEZ handled 293.7 MMT of cargo, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, the company’s logistics rail volume rose by 10%, reaching 420,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) during this timeframe.

As India’s largest port developer and operator, APSEZ operates 14 strategically located ports and terminals.

These include seven on the west coast — Mundra, Tuna, Dahej, and Hazira in Gujarat; Mormugao in Goa; Dighi in Maharashtra; and Vizhinjam in Kerala — and seven on the east coast. APSEZ is part of the globally diversified Adani Group.
