APM Terminals Pipavav to Serve ONGC in Offshore Logistics

APM Terminals Pipavav has entered a five-year contract with ONGC to establish an offshore oil and gas logistics base at its multi-cargo port. The partnership positions the private port operator as ONGC’s strategic supply base, strengthening Pipavav Port’s role in supporting India’s energy security.
Leveraging its proximity to ONGC’s Tapti and Kutch oil fields, the port will provide world-class infrastructure to service offshore assets efficiently. The collaboration is designed to ensure safe, reliable operations while enhancing offshore supply capabilities.
“Our port capabilities, focus on reliability, and collaborative approach ensure we deliver impactful solutions for India’s critical offshore logistics needs,” said Girish Aggarwal, Managing Director at APM Terminals Pipavav.
The port’s advanced multi-modal infrastructure, integrated warehousing, and strategic location will enhance operational efficiency, supply chain resilience, and reliability for ONGC and the wider oil and gas sector. The contract also opens new business avenues for Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd, positioning it as a key player in India’s offshore logistics landscape.
