Sharika Wins Rs 77 Million Cable Contract From UPPTCL

Sharika Enterprises Ltd has announced that the Uttar Pradesh government-owned UP Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (UPPTCL) has awarded it a contract worth Rs 77.3 million for the design, engineering, manufacture and supply of 132KV, 630 mm² single-core aluminium conductor corrugated aluminium-sheathed XLPE cables.

Based in Noida, Sharika Enterprises operates in the trading and distribution industry and specialises in power transmission and smart-grid engineering projects.

Key Contract Details The turnkey order from UPPTCL covers the complete design, engineering, manufacture and supply of the 132KV cables, as well as cable laying, jointing, terminations, testing and commissioning of an underground section of the 132KV DC Sonik–Sarain Katiyan/Murtazanagar line, spanning around 1.7 km.

The contract is expected to be completed within nine months. Sharika noted that the order is not linked to any related parties, underscoring its ability to secure major government projects independently.
