EcoCortec Starts €2 Million Logistics Hub in Croatia

EcoCortec, a European manufacturer of green VCI films and daughter company of Cortec Corporation, has broken ground on a new logistics centre near its existing facilities in Beli Manastir, Croatia. The €2 million investment is expected to open in October and will add a 1,500 sq m facility to create a central warehousing and logistics hub.
The project will consolidate EcoCortec’s logistics operations under one roof, improving daily efficiency, simplifying inventory management and enabling faster deliveries to global customers. Croatian company Massa, a long-term construction partner of EcoCortec, will serve as the main contractor.
Boris Miksic, CEO and owner of Cortec Corporation, said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable operations and circular economy principles by repurposing existing facilities. Local leaders, including Beli Manastir Mayor Igor Pavelic, attended the groundbreaking and highlighted EcoCortec’s two-decade contribution to the city’s Industrial Zone.
The completion of Croatia’s Corridor 5C highway section has further strengthened Beli Manastir’s investment appeal, improving connectivity and delivery timelines for manufacturers in the region.
