GDL Declares Rs 1.25 Dividend, Posts Rs 25.4 Mn Q1 Profit

Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), one of India’s leading multimodal logistics providers, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025. The company declared a first interim dividend of Rs 1.25 per share for FY26.
For the quarter, GDL reported total revenue of Rs 1.62 billion, EBITDA of Rs 250.9 million, profit before tax of Rs 39.5 million, and profit after tax of Rs 25.4 million. The results reflect the consolidation of Snowman Logistics into GDL’s accounts after it transitioned from an associate to a subsidiary in December 2024.
Chairman and Managing Director, Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, commented, “We’ve recorded solid year-on-year growth in volumes, revenue, and EBITDA. With stabilising geopolitical conditions and the recent UK trade agreement, we anticipate stronger EXIM volumes. Upcoming deals with the EU and US are also likely to support growth. On the domestic front, we’ve begun exploring new opportunities which we aim to scale further.”
He added that GDL is actively pursuing land acquisition to develop its own inland container depots (ICDs), while also evaluating asset-light operating models to boost volume expansion.
Snowman Logistics continues its growth trajectory, having added new capacity in Kolkata, Krishnapatnam, and Kundli (NCR). Additional pallet capacity is also planned across new and existing facilities.

No glass boxes!

India is moving away from the ‘glass box’ syndrome, all-glass façades that were widely used in commercial buildings in the last two decades but came at a significant environmental cost given the country’s predominantly hot and humid climate. Why do pavements fail?

India’s highways continue to expand at a healthy pace. But conversations on the surface quality of highways are growing louder because major deficiencies and black spots continue to be identified, and they are cause for concern.“Road surface roughness causes vehicle vibrations that, in turn, can affect the performance of drivers,” explains Dr V K Gahlot, Road Safety Auditor, Centre for Research and Sustainable Development (CfRSD). “Continuous exposure may induce fatigue, a contributory factor to road accidents. Road surface roughness also affects the vehicle operating cost...
