Union govt okays Rs 1,178.75 cr Guwahati sewerage project

The Union government has approved the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)-assisted Rs 1,178.75 crore Guwahati sewerage project. The Assam government has submitted the revised detailed project report and the same has been approved by the Union Ministry of Urban Development. According to an official release on December 9, the Ministry informed this to the Assam government and the Guwahati Development Department.
