Sales of Ecuador cement up by 12%

Media reports say that domestic cement sales in Ecuador increased 12.1 per cent in July to reach 5,84,767 t from 5,21,828 t in the same month of the previous year.

Data from Instituto Ecuatoriano de Cemento (INECYC) shows that for January-July 2013 period, accumulated cement sales totalled 36,92,072 t, a 12.6 per cent rise on the 32,79,812 t registered in the same period of last year.
