With a widespread network comprising nearly 2,000 dealers and over 12,500 retailers, Star Cement commands a 26.5 per cent market share in the north-eastern region. Its premium products account for approximately 10.6 per cent of total sales.
Further strengthening its footprint, the company is developing two new units in Assam, located in the Silchar and Jorhat districts. It has earmarked Rs 3.8 billion in capital expenditure for the second half of the current financial year, aimed at supporting expansion and operational growth.
