Common area – living room, dining room and kitchen

The common area of this home is designed in muted warm hues to give it a welcoming vibe. The living room or formal seating consists of massive seating with beige couches and a statement coffee table. An interesting factor of this space are the remote controlled curtains by D’décor that give it an absolute regal look.

Extending the living space is the informal seating that has a television affixed on the wall inside a grove created especially for it. A wooden wall panel extends upto the ceiling and has light fixtures that uplift the aesthetics of the room and creates an illusion of the division. Characterised by an in-house ‘jhoola’, a corner of the living area is created keeping in mind the ‘Gujarati’ culture of the residents of this home.

The seating in this area is a vibrant blue that adds a splash of colour to the space along with some cushions on the couch to break the monotony of muted hues throughout the room.

Following suite to the living room, the kitchen area is done in muted hues of beige and brown. A modern modular setup, this kitchen has a large window at one end that gives a beautiful view of the outside and also serves the purpose of ventilation.

The dining area is a small cozy space in continuation of the living room. Its distinct feature is geometrical shapes embossed on the wall that give structure to the space.

Personal area – the bedrooms

The master bedroom has beautiful woodwork that extends upto the ceiling. In warm hues, this space extends a relaxing vibe. A large wardrobe and wooden bed back are striking features of this room on a contrasting back wall with textures.

This second bedroom is designed keeping mind the requirement of a young adult and his preference of colour. The room has shades of grey and blue running through it. The bed back is upholstered in the theme colours and it also has a cozy corner sitting to read or relax. A modern light fixture gives this room a young look. A study table is also designed into this room to suit the need of its resident.

Creatively curated to accommodate two kids of the family, this bedroom has interesting features that children would find attractive. Comfortable floor beds keep seating and resting accessible for the kids. A world map on the wall is a great way to educate and keep the kid interested in activities. The room also has a study table and some storage units to provide functionality to the space.

The fourth room of this home has a small corner that has a beautiful vertical mandir for puja. This room is also used as a guest room with sleeker furniture and more open space. Scriptures on the wall characterize this room and give it depth.

The washrooms

Created with a modern aesthetics, the washrooms in this home have dark interiors. Mirrors of various shapes are affixed in each of them according to the need of those who use them. Textured walls give them a pleasing aesthetic as well.
