Saraf Furniture announces Period Leave policy for its employees

Saraf Furniture, India's solid wood furniture player and Made-in-India brand, proudly announces its new initiative - Period Leave policy for its female employees, taking yet another step toward strengthening its employee-centric work culture, fostering trust, and building a culture of acceptance for women's biological needs.

The main goal of instituting a one-day-per-month Period Leave policy for its female staff is to promote gender equality at work. Saraf Furniture's Period Leave policy aims to create a healthy work environment and improve work-life balance for all of its workers.

Period Leave will be offered to all female employees of the firm, which is famed for its high-end solid wood furniture, once a month. Period Leave will also be in addition to the usual vacations and holidays that Saraf Furniture provides to its workers. Period Leave is available to female employees of the firm at their choice and on the particular day they choose to take it.

Commenting on the praiseworthy initiative, Raghunandan Saraf, Founder & CEO, Saraf Furniture, said, "We at Saraf Furniture as a company firmly believe in 'Practice what you preach'. Saraf Furniture has taken a firm decision to come forward and set an example for others. By introducing this Period Leave policy at the workplace, we want to leave no stone unturned to provide the best to our employees. Saraf Furniture has stated that in the Financial Year 2021-22, it will recruit about 200-250 LGBTQ+ workers. Saraf Furniture's senior management is putting up a thorough strategy to form an expert committee to ensure that the entire recruiting process runs well. Top management is going to great lengths to make the entire recruiting process as pleasant and painless as possible for qualified and deserving LGBTQ+ candidates.
