United Drilling Tools Wins ONGC Order For Stabilizers

United Drilling Tools Limited has secured an order from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited for the supply of Integral Blade Stabilizers, the company announced on Monday. The contract is valued at Rs. 50.30 million (Rs. 50.30 mn) and will be executed within four to five months in accordance with ONGC specifications and quality standards. The order is for high-performance stabilizers used in drilling operations to ensure directional control, minimise vibration and reduce tool wear. United Drilling Tools is listed on BSE and National Stock Exchange under the codes 522014 and UNIDT.\n\nIntegral Blade Stabilizers play a critical role in maintaining wellbore quality and enhancing drilling efficiency by offering metallurgical strength, balance and durability under demanding conditions. United Drilling Tools said it is among the few Indian manufacturers with the capability to produce such high-technology products and highlighted advanced design precision in its engineering. The company stated that the technical proficiency of its stabilizers contributes to improved rate of penetration and extended tool life, supporting cost-effective operations.\n\nThe company noted that continued orders from public sector undertakings, including ONGC, reflect sustained confidence in its product quality and execution capabilities. It said the order reinforces an established track record of delivering reliable oilfield products and underlined a commitment to provide efficient oilfield solutions. Management indicated that the contract win underscores the firm's focus on supplying competitive and quality equipment to the domestic energy sector.\n\nEstablished in 1985 and based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, United Drilling Tools manufactures large outer diameter casing pipe with multi start high performance connectors, wireline and well service equipment, gas lift equipment and downhole tools. The firm affirmed that its products conform to international standards as per ISO and API and that it continues to innovate and improve designs. As of today it holds 32 registered trademarks, 24 registered in India and eight in other countries, and has 14 design patents, nine in India and five in the United Kingdom. The company said it will continue to strengthen its presence in the oil and gas sector.
