Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved proposals by Alstom SA and its subsidiaries to establish joint venture companies with Bharat Forge Ltd for manufacturing supercritical and sub-critical power equipment in India.
The approval would result in foreign direct investment of about Rs 490 crore in the country.
