KPGCL to execute 3,300 MW Bhadreshwar project

Kutch Power Generation Company Ltd (KPGCL), a Adani Power subsidiary, will execute the proposed 3,300 MW imported coal-fired thermal power plant at Bhadreshwar in Gujarat. The subsidiary will also look after the power generation, evacuation, and transmission of electricity from the plant. The proposed project will have five units of 660 MW each and will use imported coal from Australia and South Africa. The plant is estimated to cost Rs 13,000 crore.
