Bilaspur Smart City to set up 6.3 MW solar power projects

Bilaspur Smart City Limited (BSCL) has floated a tender for setting up 6.3 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at Smriti Van, Domuhani, and Guru Ameri in Chhattisgarh.

For the 2.3 MW, Domuhani ground-mounted solar project, the interested bidders would have to pay Rs 1.2 million as an earnest money deposit.

March 26, 2022, is the last date to submit the bids, and on March 28, bids would be opened.

The successful bidder would be responsible to operate and maintain the activities of the project for 25 years.

The estimated tender cost is Rs 126.5 million. The successful bidder would have to provide an amount equal to 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee.

The project should be finished within 11 months from the work order issuance.

To participate in the bidding procedure, the bidder should have implemented a single grid-connected solar power project, ground-mounted solar power project, or rooftop solar system of overall capacity not less than 1.5 MW in the previous three years.

Alternatively, the bidder must have implemented ground-mounted solar power projects, rooftop solar projects, or two grid-connected solar power projects of a capacity of 1 MW each, not less than that.

The average annual turnover of the bidder in the previous three financial years (FY) must be at least 60 million, and they should also have a favourable net worth on the last day of the last FY.

BSCL would sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) for 25 years.

For the Smriti Van 2 MW solar project, BSCL invited bids for the engineering, design, installation, supply, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance project.

To participate in the bidding process, the bidder must submit an amount equal to Rs 1.1 million as an earnest money deposit.The last date to submit the bids is March 26, 2022, and bids would be opened on March 28. The tender's estimated cost is Rs 110 million.

The successful bidder would have to provide an amount equal to 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee.The project should be completed in 11 months from the date of the allotment of the work order.

The average annual turnover of the bidder must be Rs 55 million in the last three FYs.The CSPDCL would sign a PPA for 25 years with BSCL to procure power.

In another tender, BSCL also invited bids to set up a 2 MW solar project at Ghuru Ameri. The successful bidder would be responsible for the maintenance and operation activities of the project for 25 years.

The last date to submit the bids is March 26, 2022, and the bids would be opened on March 28.The estimated expense of the tender is Rs 110 million, and interested bidders must submit an amount equal to Rs 1.1 million as an earnest money deposit.

The successful bidder should provide 10% of the bid value as a performance bank guarantee, and the project should be completed within 11 months from the date of the issuance of the work order.
