Enlight Metals Targets 1,000 MW Solar Support via Galvalume Structures

Enlight Metals, an AI-driven metal aggregator, has outlined plans to support over 1,000 MW of cumulative solar capacity over the next two years through its Galvalume-based solar mounting structures, strengthening its role in India’s clean energy transition.
The company entered the solar infrastructure segment in July 2025, focusing on engineered Galvalume-coated steel mounting structures for utility-scale and large commercial solar projects. Since then, it has built a growing double-digit MW project pipeline, largely across Western and Southern India.
Looking ahead, Enlight Metals plans to expand into additional high-growth solar markets nationwide. The solar vertical reinforces the company’s positioning as a technology-enabled materials platform operating at the intersection of metals, infrastructure, and clean energy, supporting diversified growth and long-term relevance.
Commenting on the strategy, Vedant, Founder and CEO, Enlight Metals, said that the next phase of India’s solar growth will depend on infrastructure quality, durability, and execution certainty. He added that by combining Galvalume-specific structural design with AI-driven planning, the company aims to improve durability, reduce material inefficiencies, and provide greater certainty on project timelines and lifecycle costs.
The company uses an AI-driven platform to integrate project design parameters with Galvalume demand forecasting, vendor allocation, and logistics planning. This approach enables accurate material planning, reduced wastage, real-time tracking from manufacturing to site delivery, and improved schedule adherence.
Enlight Metals’ core offering includes the design, supply, and execution support of ground-mounted Galvalume-based solar structures. It works closely with EPC contractors, independent power producers, and industrial clients on captive and open-access solar projects, where long-term structural reliability and lifecycle economics are critical.
