ISRPL invites bids for over 2.9 MW rooftop solar systems in Panipat

The Indian Synthetic Rubber Private Limited (ISRPL), a joint venture (JV) of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marubeni Corporation and Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Private Limited, has floated an O&M tender for a 2.9 MW rooftop solar project in Panipat, Haryana.

The project work included designing, commissioning, planning, engineering, construction, procurement, erection and testing of the 2,918 kW rooftop solar project based on turnkey.

The bidder's work will include supply and installation of equipment and structures and their installation, including foundation till the interconnection at 6.6 kV level via captive mode in synchronization with the existing system.

The winning bidder will have to take care of the system on an operation and maintenance (O&M) basis for two years after the commissioning of the project.

The deadline to submit the bids is 9th October 2021.

The bidder will have to deposit Rs 500,000 as the bid security amount. The winning bidder will also have to deposit 10% of the contract value as a performance bank guarantee.

The bidder will have to complete the project, including construction and commissioning, within four months from the date of the contract.

To participate in the bidding process, the bidder must have installed and commissioned a rooftop solar project of a minimum 10 MW capacity as a developer or procurement, engineering or construction provider, which must have been completed in the last 36 months before the submission of the bid.

According to the bid document, the bidder should have installed at least three rooftop projects of 1 MW each, or two projects of 1.5 MW each, or just one project of 2.2 MW.

The annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs 100 million in any of the previous three fiscal years.

Bidder's solar array capacity should be at least 2.918 MW with mono passivated emitter and rear cells (PERC) solar modules of at least 535 Wp capacity. The efficiency of the solar module should be a minimum of 20.7%.
