NTPC REL Extends Bid Deadlines for 495 MW Solar Projects

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) has extended the bidding deadlines for two major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts totalling 495 megawatts of grid-connected solar capacity in India.

The bidding for the 250 MW solar project in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, can now be submitted until 15 July. The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply (including photovoltaic modules), installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of three years.

Additionally, NTPC REL has pushed the bid submission deadline for the 245 MW solar PV project at the South Block of the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. Bids for this project are now due by 30 June.

These extensions provide additional preparation time for bidders aiming to participate in two of India’s significant solar infrastructure initiatives under NTPC’s growing renewable energy portfolio.
