Pahal Solar Secures 112 MW Order, Expands to 4.4 GW Capacity

On the opening day of the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, Pahal Solar announced a 112 MW order for its 600 Wp Non-Domestic Content Requirement (NDCR) solar modules from a reputed client based in South India. The company said the project will be powered by AI-enabled manufacturing and advanced TOPCon bifacial panels, showcasing the next generation of intelligent solar production.

Pahal Solar’s upcoming facility will integrate AI-based analytics and precision systems to enhance quality control and operational efficiency. The company aims to achieve 2 gigawatts (GW) of module production within the current financial year, which will take its total installed capacity to 4.4 GW. This expansion consolidates Pahal Solar’s position as a national leader in solar module and component manufacturing.

Since the introduction of its 570 Wp TOPCon solar modules that meet the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Domestic Content Requirement (DCR), Pahal Solar has advanced steadily in the renewable sector. These high-efficiency panels were launched to meet the growing demand for premium rooftop solar solutions, especially in the residential market.

Under the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), the company’s certified manufacturing capacity increased by 264 MW to reach 828 MW, reinforcing its standing among India’s leading solar module producers.

Recently, Pahal Solar held a bhoomi poojan (ground-breaking ceremony) for the expansion of its 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and 2 GW aluminium frame plant in Surat, Gujarat. The expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to self-reliance and technological advancement in India’s renewable energy sector.
