Premier Energies Launches 620W TOPCon Solar Modules

Premier Energies Limited, one of India’s largest integrated solar manufacturers, has announced the launch of its next-generation 620W DCR solar modules, powered by G12R TOPCon technology. These modules rank among the highest-output, large-format solar panels currently available in India.

The new modules employ TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) architecture, which enhances power density, improves temperature coefficient, and boosts low-light performance. The G12R N-type rectangular cell format allows for higher string power and balance-of-system optimisation, making the panels particularly suitable for utility-scale projects, as well as commercial and industrial rooftops.

Commenting on the launch, Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director and CEO of Premier Energies, said:

“This launch represents a significant milestone in India’s transition to high-efficiency solar. As one of the first companies to bring 620W DCR modules to market, we are providing a future-ready solution to help investors and consumers extract greater energy and value from every ray of the sun.”

The modules are compliant with India’s Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) regulations, aligning with the government’s Make in India policy and long-term solar ambitions.

Key Features of the 620W G12R TOPCon Modules:
  • High Output: Maximises energy yield in space-constrained rooftops and large ground-mounted systems.
  • TOPCon Efficiency: Delivers superior conversion efficiency compared with conventional PERC technology.
  • Rectangular G12R Format: Optimised aspect ratio enables better layout, higher string power, and reduced system costs.
  • Enhanced Durability: Engineered to withstand India’s climate, including heat, humidity, dust, and strong wind loads.
  • Lower LCOE: High power density and durable field performance reduce the lifetime cost of energy.
As India accelerates its renewable energy capacity, Premier Energies continues to strengthen its position in performance, reliability, and sustainability. The 620W G12R TOPCon module is a forward-looking addition to its product portfolio, designed to deliver higher returns and a reduced carbon footprint for all categories of solar energy users.
