Torrent Green Energy Commissions 322 MW Decentralised Solar Projects

Torrent Green Energy (TGE) has commissioned 322 megawatt (MW) of decentralised solar projects, the company announced. The capacity comprises distributed solar installations across multiple sites and has been connected to the grid to supply power to commercial and industrial customers. The commissioning represents an addition to TGE's operational portfolio of renewable assets and reflects a strategic push into decentralised generation. The installations have been integrated with local distribution networks and registered within the company asset management framework.

The projects will provide clean electricity directly at or near consumption points, reducing transmission losses and supporting client sustainability commitments. TGE will operate and maintain the solar installations as part of its service suite, which combines project development with asset management. The decentralised model aims to deliver predictable power supply and cost savings for off-takers while complementing larger utility scale plants in the broader energy mix. The contractual arrangements are intended to provide long-term supply certainty for off-takers.
