Waaree Energies Bags 500 Megawatt (MW) Solar Module Order

Waaree Energies has announced that it has secured an order to supply 500 megawatt (MW) of solar modules, a contract disclosed on 24 February 2026. The company said the agreement covers the manufacture and delivery of crystalline silicon modules and includes standard quality and performance assurances, without specifying delivery milestones. The order reflects continued demand for utility scale solar components and adds materially to the company order book for the current financial period.

Provision of 500 MW will require the mobilisation of production capacity, logistics and quality control processes along the company supply chain. Industry analysts note that module manufacturers often plan output schedules months in advance to align shipments with project timelines and grid connection dates, so the contract may help smooth factory utilisation. The company indicated that it will allocate resources to meet the contractual specifications while adhering to regulatory and environmental norms.
