L&T Posts Rs 15 Bn Q4 Profit, Orders at Rs 89.6 Bn
Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a 25 per cent increase in consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders for the January–March quarter of FY2024–25, driven by strong revenue growth and an exceptional gain. The company posted a net profit of Rs 54.97 billion for the quarter, while revenue rose by 10.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 743.92 billion.Order inflow during the March 2025 quarter stood at Rs 896.13 billion, marking a 24 per cent year-on-year rise. MahaRERA Crosses 50,000 Housing Projects Milestone
Marking its seventh anniversary, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has registered over 50,000 housing projects, becoming the only state in India to reach this milestone. Maharashtra now accounts for more than 35 per cent of all residential projects registered under RERA across the country.According to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India has a total of 144,617 housing projects registered with RERA bodies.
