NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL), the renewable energy arm of NTPC, floated two land and power evacuation package tenders to develop inter-state transmission system-connected solar projects in Andhra Pradesh. The first tender aims to develop a 900 MW solar project in Kurnool and the second tender is for a 900 MW solar project in Anantapur. The last day to submit tenders for the Kurnool project is 18 December and last day to submit tenders for the Anantapur project is 20 December 2023. For both projects, bids will open on the same day.
