Surendranagar Mahila and Bal Vikas Mandal in Gujarat have requested tenders for the survey, installation, testing and commissioning of a 2.5 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant. The winning bidder is not required to offer solar modules but must provide ten years of full operation and maintenance service. The project is expected to cost $80 mn. Within 240 days of receiving the letter of intent, the project must be commissioned. The deadline for proposal submissions is June 4.
