Gujarat has issued a tender for a 2.5 MW ground-mounted solar project

Surendranagar Mahila and Bal Vikas Mandal in Gujarat has published a notice requesting tenders for the survey, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 2.5 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant. The winning bidder is not required to offer solar modules, but must provide ten years of full operation and maintenance (O&M) service.

The project is expected to cost $80 million (around $1.03 million). Within 240 days of receiving the letter of intent, the project must be commissioned. The deadline for proposal submissions is June 4, 2022. On June 8, bids will be accepted.

Tender fees of 20,000 ($257) are required of all bidders. They must also provide a $800,000 ($10,291) earnest money deposit.

Within ten days of obtaining the work order, successful bidders must pay a security deposit of 10% of the total contract value plus a performance guarantee. Successful bidders must also provide a bank guarantee for 10% of the O&M cost.
