Will this have any effect on the number of international participants?Yes indeed, many equipment exhibitions have taken place recently, the largest one on the international scale being bauma in Munich. Therefore, we are witnessing huge interest in the bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2023, as the world recognises India as a key hotspot for infra investments. Additionally, infrastructure plays a crucial role in the sustainable development of any country. Hence, infrastructure development is the biggest focus area of the Government of India.India plans to spend $1.4 trillion on infrastructure development during 2019-23. The growth of our show can be attributed to the increasing investments by the government in the infrastructure and housing sector. Construction equipment plays a major role in driving these sectors and hence we are witnessing growing interest and increasing participation from our international exhibitors to showcase solutions at the show that are going to be massive drivers in attracting visitors to our show. How do you look at the market for construction equipment in India?India is well on its way toward becoming the world's second-largest construction equipment market and the manufacturing hub of the world. Construction equipment sales in the second quarter of this fiscal year showed an 8 per cent y-o-y growth with healthy performance on the export front as well. Investment in infrastructures such as roads, mining, housing, railways, and irrigation is a key element for driving India’s economic growth.India’s construction equipment industry would be playing a giant role in realizing the aspirational goals of these sectors, thereby strengthening India in its pursuit to achieve its economic goals. With $1.4 trillion worth of investments in infra-development planned by the government and projects being undertaken across the country, bauma CONEXPO INDIA comes at an opportune time. How has been the response to bauma CONEXPO INDIA?
