The National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHRCL) has completed nearly 15 per cent of civil work for the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) station, a key component of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor. NHRCL aims for the station's overall completion by 2027. BKC station, slated to be the sole underground station on the high-speed rail corridor, is designed with six platforms specifically tailored for 16-coach bullet trains.
